KYBELLA® is an FDA-approved injectable used in men and women to improve the appearance and profile of moderate-to-severe fat under the chin (submental fat), also called the “double chin,” and permanently dissolve small pockets of fat in other places of the body. Kybella can treat small areas of fat in the inner thighs to reveal slimmer legs and in the jowls to eliminate the sagging in the lower face. Kybella is made of a synthetic material, deoxycholic acid, that helps the body absorb fat by destroying the cells of the membranes that store it.
