Hair Restoration with Microneedling and PRF
If you are experiencing hair loss, consider hair restoration treatment through microneedling with PRF. This treatment works best for people who are experiencing postpartum hair loss, alopecia areata, hair thinning. Microneedling in combination with PRF works well for both men and women, especially those in the early stages of hair loss.
How Does Microneedling Correct Hair Loss?
Increases availability of cell nutrients
Stimulates blood flow
Releases vascular endothelial growth factor which improves follicle vascularization, promoting hair growth and increasing follicle and hair size
Stimulate hair growth through fibroblast growth factor upregulation in dermal papilla cells
PRF requires a blood draw, then spun in a centrifuge, which causes the red blood cells to collect in the bottom part of the test tube. The stem cells, white blood cells, platelets, growth factors, fibrin and plasma collect in the upper part. The plasma is collected and injected into the areas of thinning hair.
3-4 treatments are recommended; 4-6 weeks spacing between each treatments. Results are noticeable after 3rd treatment (results varies with each client)

Contraindications:
Active infection in the scalp
Do not take any anti-inflammatory medications such as ibuprofen, Motrin or Advil 3 days prior to treatment.
Clean scalp prior to appt time.
Reschedule appointment 48 hours if there are lesions or active infection in the scalp

Wash the treated areas with gentle cleansers.
Don’t wash your scalp with regular shampoo and conditioner for at least 48 hours. Use a mild shampoo and conditioner.
Wear a hat and avoid excessive/direct sun exposure for 7 days
Do not exercise or participate in strenuous activity or go swimming for at least 72 hours post-treatment. Sweating can promote bacterial growth.
For best results a series of 6 treatments are recommended.
If you want recommended treatments, this can be done 4 weeks apart.
